| Description | Pursuant to Rule 704(17)(c) of the Listing Manual, Asia Pacific Breweries Limited (“APB”) is pleased to announce that Island Link Holdings Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of APB has acquired 36,850 shares (“Sale Shares”) representing a 36.85% stake in Daraka Co., Ltd, a company incorporated in Thailand, for an aggregate consideration of Thai Baht 3,758,700 (approximately S$154,858). The consideration was arrived at on a willing buyer and willing seller basis, taking into account the audited net asset value of the Sale Shares of Thai Baht 896,396.79 (approximately S$36,932) as at 30 September 2011. The purchase will be funded from internal resources. This transaction is not expected to have a material effect on the net tangible assets per share or earnings per share of APB for the current financial year. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of APB has any interest, direct or indirect, in the acquisition transaction.
