Description The board of directors (“Board”) of Contel Corporation Limited (“Company”) refers to the Company’s announcements on 18 January 2012, 21 January 2012 and 10 February 2012 (the “Announcements”) in relation to the acquisition of the entire issued and outstanding share capital of Midland Silicon Company LLC ("MSC") by the Company ("Acquisition"). Terms defined in the Announcements shall have the same meanings when used in this announcement, unless otherwise defined.

The Board is pleased to announce that the Conditions Precedent for the Acquisition have been satisfied and the Acquisition was completed on 15 February 2012. Following completion of the Acquisition, MSC is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
