UTILISATION OF PROCEEDS FROM THE RIGHTS ISSUE

Description

The Board of Directors of the Company refers to the announcements dated 1 December 2009 and 28 December 2009 and the Offer Information Statement dated 1 December 2009. Unless otherwise defined, all capitalised terms used herein shall bear the same meanings as in the Offer Information Statement. The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that out of the net proceeds from 216,455,943 Rights Shares amounting to approximately S$ 4.1 million (after deducting expenses in relation to the Rights Issue of approximately S$0.2 million and after the utilisation of S$17.3 million of the proceeds as announced by the Company on 31 August 2010), S$ 1.1 million has been utilised for investment of the Group Converting Plastic to Fuel project. The Company will continue to make periodic announcements on the utilisation of the balance of the proceeds from the Rights Issue as and when such proceeds are materially deployed.
