FootnotesThe Board of Directors is pleased to recommend a final tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 40 cents (2012: final tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 27 cents per ordinary share) and a special tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 5 cents (2012: special tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 27 cents per ordinary share). Including the interim tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 10 cents paid in September 2013, total dividends for financial year 2013 would amount to 55 cents per ordinary share (2012: 64 cents per ordinary share). The recommended final and special dividends will be payable on 8 May 2014, subject to shareholders approval at the Annual General Meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Share Transfer Books and Register of Members of the Company will be closed on 25 April 2014 for the purpose of determining the entitlement of shareholders to the recommended final tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 40 cents and special tax exempt (one-tier) dividend of 5 cents per ordinary share. Duly completed registrable transfers of shares received by the Companys Share Registrar, M & C Services Pte Ltd at 112 Robinson Road #05-01, Singapore 068902 up to 5.00 p.m. on 24 April 2014 will be registered to determine shareholders entitlements to the proposed dividends. Members whose securities accounts with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited are credited with shares as at 5.00 p.m. on 24 April 2014 will be entitled to the proposed dividends.
