From 2002 to 2003 he was marketing director and consultant to Ernst & Young. From 1998 to 2002 he served as the managing director of Asia for SonoSite Inc. From 1992 to 1998 he was director of international finance for ATL Ultrasound Inc.

Mr. Ede received his bachelor of business administration degree from University of Hawaii and a MBA degree from the University of Washington.
