Singapore, 14 July 2011 – Keppel Corporation Limited (the “Company”) wishes to advise that further to its press release “Keppel secures third jackup order from Asia Offshore Drilling at US$184 million” made on 3 July 2011, the conditions precedent to the construction contract entered into by Asia Offshore Drilling’s wholly owned subsidiary Asia Offshore Rig 3 Limited with the Company’s subsidiary Keppel FELS Limited (the “Construction Contract”) have been fully satisfied, and the Construction Contract has become effective.

The Construction Contract is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets or earnings per share of the Company for the current financial year.
