    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Share Transfer Books and Register of Members of Mercator Lines (Singapore) Ltd (the “Company”) will be closed by 5.00 p.m. on August 1, 2012 for the purpose of determining the entitlements of the Company’s shareholders (“Shareholders”) to the proposed first and final dividend (tax exempt one-tier) of SGD 0.0020 (0.20 Singapore Cent) per ordinary share (the “Proposed Final Dividend”) for the preparation of dividend warrants.

    Duly completed registrable transfers received by the Company’s Share Registrar, Boardroom Corporate & Advisory Services Pte. Ltd. 50 Raffles Place Singapore Land Tower #32-01 Singapore 048623 up to 5.00 p.m. on August 1, 2012 will be registered to determine entitlements to the Proposed Final Dividend. Members (being depositors) whose securities accounts with the Central Depository (Pte) Limited are credited with the shares at 5.00 p.m. on August 1, 2012 will be entitled to the Proposed Final Dividend.

    The Proposed Final Dividend, if approved by the members at the Annual General Meeting to be held on July 25, 2012, will be paid on or about August 16, 2012.

    This announcement supercedes announcement number 00156 on "Notice of Book Closure Date" which was broadcasted on 26 June 2012.
