Singapore, January 29, 2013 : With reference to the earlier announcement on 22 July 2011, Sembcorp Marine wishes to announce that its subsidiary Jurong Shipyard (JSPL) has reached an agreement, made strictly on a commercial basis, with its former Auditors Ernst & Young LLP for a full and final amicable settlement in respect of the claims relating to the unauthorised foreign exchange transactions. The terms of the settlement are confidential. The settlement is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net tangible assets per share of Sembcorp Marine for the year ending December 31, 2013.
