| Description | Pursuant to Rule 704(17)(d) of the SGX-ST Listing Manual, the Company wishes to announce that its interest in its subsidiary, Pan Pacific Hotels Group Limited ("PPHG"), has increased to 600,000,000 PPHG shares or 100% of PPHG's issued share capital. The increase in its shareholding was pursuant to the transfer and settlement on 25 September 2013 of an aggregate of 8,053,944 PPHG shares acquired pursuant to the completion of the Company’s exercise of its right of compulsory acquisition ("Compulsory Acquisition") under Section 215(1) of the Companies Act, Chapter 50 of Singapore at the exit offer price of S$2.55 per PPHG share, following the close of the exit offer. Further information on the exit offer and the Compulsory Acquisition is set out in the Company’s announcement on 10 May 2013, in the Exit Offer Letter dated 15 July 2013 in connection with the voluntary delisting of PPHG from the official list of the SGX-ST, and in the announcement released by the Company's financial advisor, United Overseas Bank Limited, on behalf of the Company, on 25 September 2013 on the completion of the Compulsory Acquisition. |
