Dr Tan Jee-Theng Tony, who is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and an Executive Director of the Company, will be retiring and stepping down as director and will relinquish all his executive functions with effect from 31 December 2013. After his retirement, Dr Tony Tan will continue to serve as an Advisor to the Board. 2. Mr Chang Cheng-Hsing (Francis), who is the current Vice President for Exploration and Production of the Company and has been assisting the current CEO in managing the full spectrum of exploration, development and production of the Groups oil and gas assets in Indonesia, Peoples Republic of China and Malaysia, will be promoted as the new CEO and will also be appointed as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2014. The Board wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Dr Tan Jee-Theng Tony for his leadership of the Group towards its growth path during the past few years and look forward to the continuing growth of the Group under the leadership of Mr Chang Cheng-Hsing (Francis).
