| Description | Further to its announcement dated 17 September 2013, STATS ChipPAC Ltd. (the Company) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, STATS ChipPAC Semiconductor Shanghai Co., Ltd. (incorporated in China), which was placed under voluntary liquidation, has been dissolved.
The dissolution of the above mentioned subsidiary is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets or earnings per share of the Company for the financial year ending 29 December 2013.
