Announcement Title * Clarifications on Media Reports Description Frasers Centrepoint Limited (the Company) refers to the article in Reuters on 6 February 2014 entitled "Thai tycoon Charoens FCL eyes $473 mln hospitality REIT in Q2 sources". Although the Company is exploring the proposed establishment of a hospitality real estate investment trust (REIT) to be listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the SGX-ST) which may include hotels and serviced residences from both the Company and its majority shareholder, the TCC Group, and had, in connection with its exploratory plans, submitted a new listing application for the REIT to the SGX-ST for review, no decision has been made as to whether the transaction will take place and the details thereof,including the terms at which the properties will be injected into the REIT, the offering timeline as well as the appointment of the underwriters. The proposed establishment and listing of the REIT on the SGX-ST will be subject to, among other things, market conditions, the relevant regulatory, shareholders and other approvals being obtained and the execution of definitive agreements by the relevant parties. An announcement will be issued by the Company in the event of further material development. In the meantime, investors and shareholders of the Company are advised to refrain from taking any action in respect of their securities in or issued by the Company which may be prejudicial to their interests, and to exercise caution when dealing with the securities of the Company.
