| Reasons for Trading Halt | For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, SP AusNet provides the following information: (a) the trading halt is necessary as SP AusNet is in discussions with Singapore Power in relation to the Management Services Agreement, under which management services are provided to SP AusNet by SPI Management Services Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore Power and expects to be in a position to make an announcement during the course of today in relation to such agreement; (b) SP AusNet requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the announcement of this matter and the commencement of trading on 1 April 2014, and the trading halt will cease at that time; and (c) SP AusNet is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted. |
