(HLA or the Company) wishes to announce that Grace Star Services Ltd., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of China Yuchai International Limited, which in turn is a subsidiary of the Company, had on 10 and 11 March 2014, purchased in the open market an aggregate of 439,000 ordinary shares in the capital of HLGE, representing approximately 0.046% of the total number of issued ordinary shares of HLGE, for an aggregate gross cash consideration of S$16,741.00 (the Acquisition).
