In line with the Group's expansion strategy and changes to the operating environment, five key senior management team members will be taking on additional portfolios while the sixth key personnel will focus on a new portfolio. Restructured Portfolios of selected Exco Members: 1) Mr. Terence Donald O'Connor - Executive Director, Group Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Courts Singapore 2) Ms. Kee Kim Eng - Executive Director, Group Chief Financial and Information Officer 3) Mr. Tim Luce - Group Chief Marketing Officer and CEO of Courts Malaysia 4) Ms. Kiranjeet Kaur - Group Chief Talent and Customer Service Officer 5) Mr. Chan Yuen Kiong - Group Chief Credit Officer and Advisor to Regional Operations 6) Mr. Allard Sjollema - CEO of New Markets The above changes will take effect from 1 September 2014. Other portfolio appointments within the Exco remain unchanged. Separately, Courts Asia has undertaken a rigorous review of its operations and business processes. In keeping with current business needs and its operating environment, the Group will be streamlining its manpower resources in selected divisions and embarking on wide-ranging cost-saving initiatives. The Board remains optimistic that Courts Asia's long-term fundamentals are sound. The Group's continued drive towards greater cost efficiency will enable us to better position Courts Asia as we embark on our regional expansion strategy. Ultimately, we aim to bring value and derive long-term benefits for our shareholders.
