| Reasons for Trading Halt | The Board of ECS Holdings Limited (the "Board") has been informed by the company's controlling shareholder, VST Holdings Limited ("VST"), that the number of shares held in public hands (as defined in the listing manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (the "Exchange")) has fallen below 10% of the total number of issued shares of the company. The Board will be seeking clarification as regards the intention of VST in relation to the reinstatement of the requisite public float and will be seeking guidance from the Exchange. In the meantime and pending responses from VST and the Exchange, the Board has requested for a trading halt. The Board will make further announcements as and when appropriate or required, including after it has received a response from VST. |
