| Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below) | Neptune Orient Lines Limited ("NOL") wishes to announce that it has on 22 May 2015, through its wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, APL Logistics Ltd ("APLL") together with a local individual shareholder, incorporated a new company in Vietnam named APL Logistics Vietnam Company Limited ("APLL Vietnam"). APLL Vietnam is owned 98% by APLL and 2% by a local individual shareholder. APLL Vietnam's areas of focus are in the provision of goods warehousing and storage services and freight transport agency services. APLL Vietnam will be capitalized within 12 months from the date of issuance of the Investment Certificate by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. The incorporation of APLL Vietnam is not expected to have a material effect on the net tangible assets or earnings per share of the NOL Group for the current financial year. None of the Directors or controlling shareholder of NOL has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction.
